PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - A bomb exploded close to the market area in a northwest Pakistan tribal town near the Afghan border on Monday, injuring three members of a local peace committee, Dunya News reported.

The blast occurred near the main bazaar of Landi Kotal in Khyber tribal district when members of Tauheed-e-Islam peace organization were passing through it.

The injured were shifted to a local hospital.

Investigation teams arrived at the scene and collected evidence from the blast site.

Meanwhile, local administration has launched search operation to arrest those involved in the incident.
