Seriousness not seen in Taliban peace talks: PTI leader

Summary Shaukat Yousafzai expressed disappointment over the role of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health minister Shaukat Yousafzai said he couldn’t see any seriousness in peace talks, adding that PTI supports dialogue if it is held within the parameters of constitution.

Inaugurating the fourth stage of health campaign (Sehat Ka Insaf), Shaukat Yousafzai expressed disappointment over the role of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Addressing JUI-F chief, he questioned as to why he withdrew the name of Mufti Kifayat from Taliban negotiating committee.

KPK minister also said Professor Ibrahim and Rustam Shah were representing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Mohmand Agency during peace talks.

Meanwhile, Shaukat Yousafzai said the health reforms were successfully running in the province.
