JEDDAH (Agencies) - At least seven Pakistani died when their bus collided with a truck along the Makkah-Madinah highway.
Only two of the pilgrims had been identified so far. They were Mohammed Hassan and Manahel Fatima. A source said that 13 Pakistanis also sustained injuries in the accident.
The bus was carrying Pakistani, Egyptian and Syrian pilgrims from Madinah to Makkah when the accident happened at Al Hijra, about 100 kilometres from Madinah.
The injured were transferred to the King Fahd, the Saudi German and the Miqat hospitals in Jeddah.
