RAJANPUR(Web Desk) - In yet another terrorist attack in Pakistan, three people were killed when five coaches of a train (Khushhal Khan Khattak Express) derailed following a powerful explosion on a railway track in Rajanpur District of Punjab province on Friday, Dunya News reported. 

The ill-fated train was going from Peshawar to Karachi when the blast occurred on railway track near Kotla Hassan Shah area.

Immediately after the blast, top police, civil and railway officials visited the spot.

According to GM Railways Anjum Pervez, the bomb was planted on railway track and train’s engine oil tank exploded after the blast, resulting into massive damage.

The injured people were shifted to nearby hospitals where ten of them are said to be in critical condition, Assistant Commissioner Farooq Sadiq said.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast.
