ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - President Mamnoon Hussain has said that entire life of holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is a complete code of life and beacon of guidance. He urged the nation to truly follow the teachings of Holy Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wasallam) for peace and stability in the country.
Addressing the 39th National Seerat Conference in Islamabad on Tuesday‚ Mamnoon Hussain said the holy Prophet‚ who is a blessing for the whole universe‚ neither practiced nor advocated the use of extremism in religion as he always gave the message of moderation and abhorred extremism.
Addressing the conference Minister of State for Religious Affairs Amin ul Hasnat said that objective of current year s Seerat Conference is to find out solution of the prevailing problems in the light of the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
He said that at the dent of his Seerat-e-Tayyaba‚ Prophet Muhammad (SAW) promoted harmony among people. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has urged people not to say harsh words or passed negative comments even for enemies.
In his address Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee‚ Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that we should awaken our conscience and come out of fear to work for dignity and honour of Ummah and the state and people of Pakistan.
The theme of this year s conference was "Responsible Use of Official Status and Resources in the Light of Teachings of holy Prophet".
On the occasion‚ Mamnoon Hussain gave away cash prizes to the scholars for their papers on the life and teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
