Summary PML-N has assets worth Rs 87 million, MQM 100 million and PPP has Rs 4.5 million.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday issued details of the assets of the political parties.
According to the details of the assets of political parties, as revealed by the ECP, ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has assets worth Rs 87 million. It spent Rs. 560 million in May 11 general elections in 2013 and 3.8 million on refreshment. The PML-N collected Rs 448.4 million as donation from its workers while its bank balance is Rs 61.2 million.
The total value of the assets of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is Rs 4.5 million and 30 thousand while its annual income is Rs 35.6 million. The bank balance of the PPP is Rs 191.01 million while it spent Rs 232 million in general elections.
According to the ECP, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has assets of assets having value of Rs 100 million.
MQM has bank account worth Rs 76.2 million
Awami National Party (ANP) has declared assets of over Rs 28 million, while Jamat-e-Islami has revealed that it has assets valuing Rs 4.183million.
Muslim League (Zia) is one of the parties having less amount as it has assets of only Rs 30,000.
JUI-F has assets of Rs 1. 124 million and its income is Rs 0.8 million and 44,000.
Meanwhile, Aap Janab Sarkar Party has revealed its assets worth Rs 88,000 while it had to bear the burden of Rs 988 after paying its rent and bills.
