LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Wednesday expressed reservations over local government elections’ procedure.
Addressing a press conference, the PTI leader stated that Punjab government is violating the code of conduct regarding LB polls.
He said that millions of rupees are spent on development schemes whereas transfer of employees is being carried out after issuance of the election schedule.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that Punjab ministers are holding campaigns for the polls.
He urged the opposition parties to form a joint monitoring committee to ensure transparency in the local bodies election.
