ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday summoned the guarantor for former military ruler Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf and the federal interior secretary in judges’ detention case.
Earlier today, Islamabad police submitted a report regarding the security of former president Musharraf.
The court expressed resentment over the report due to lack of the signatures of Inspector General of Police Sikandar Hayat and ordered for re-submission of the report.
Moreover, officials of the National Crises Management Cell (NCMC) appeared before the bench instead of the federal interior secretary and sought more time to submit the report over Musharraf’s security.
The court granted more time and adjourned the hearing till January 9.
