Summary Chief Justice PHC says Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has become a ‘donation box’.
PESHAWAR (Online): Peshawar High Court (PHC) has declared fuel adjustment charges as illegal.
Two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Dost Muhammad Khan was hearing case pertaining to fuel adjustment charges here on Tuesday.
During the proceeding, Justice Dost Muhammad remarked that under which law fuel adjustment charges are imposed.
He said Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has become a ‘donation box’, adding that even if transformer goes out of orders it is paid by the people to repair it. The court ordered to return the overcharged amount to the consumers.
