Summary The bomb disposal squad successfully defused second bomb planted in the Budh Ber area of Peshawar.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Three police personnel including the in-charge of Bomb Disposal Squad were killed in a remote controlled bomb blast while another bomb was defused on Monday.

According to police, the personnel of bomb disposal squad were on their way to Suleman Khel when a blast went off, killing three policemen while injuring two others. The injured were taken to Lady Leading Hospital. The dead have been identified as Abdul Haq, Imtiaz and driver Kashif.  

Another bomb, planted in the same area of Sheikh Muhammadi was successfully defused by the bomb disposal squad.

During the operation, the Sheikh Muhammadi Road was blocked for all types of traffic. Meanwhile, an investigation in this regard has been started. 

At least nine personnel of bomb disposal squad have been killed in different incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
