ISLAMABAD (Online) - A three-member bench of Supreme Court (SC) headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani will hear the case of thumb verification in four constituencies filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today (Monday).
As per cause list issued by SC, under the supervision of CJP and Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, 2 separate benches have been constituted for the hearing of important cases in federal capital.
Along with the petition of PTI regarding thumb verification, SC will also hear the cases EOBI scandal, Balochistan insurgency, Kamran Faisal mysterious death, Jinnah Avenue firing incident, salaries of lady health workers and Manchar lake pollution case. Two benches headed by Justice Jawad S. Khawaja and Justice Saqib Nisar will hear the cases in Lahore, while 2 benches under the supervision of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Arif Khilji will conduct the hearing of cases in Karachi.
