LAHORE (Dunya News) – A ticket checker was allegedly tortured to death by four students travelling in a train without tickets.
As per details, four students of Sheikhupura Commerce College were traveling to Lahore by train without tickets and when the ticket checker asked them to present the tickets they started quarreling with him and exchanged heated words.
Later at the railway station, the ticket checker complained to the Lahore police on which the students brutally battered him.
The police took the ticket checker to the police station where he succumbed to his injuries, police official.
The police arrested one student whereas three managed to escape.
Minister for Railways has sought a report of the incident.
