LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has suspended gas supply to industries and CNG stations in Punjab for an indefinite period from Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
Spokesman of the company said the decision has been taken in view of increase in gas consumption by the domestic sector.
Gas shortfall has reached 1100 million cubic feet per day, the spokesperson added.
According to sources, gas suspension to industries and CNG stations could continue for two months, whereas, supply to commercial and domestic consumers will continue uninterrupted.
On the other hand, special teams have been formed to ensure implementation of SNGPL s decision.
