Summary Schools and markers remained closed amid fears of more violence.

Karachi ( Dunya News) - Situation city remained tense after killing of 15 persons during last 24 hours in different areas of the troubled metropolis.

The examinations in universities were postponed in the wake of the murder of Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslemeen leader in Karachi.

Large containers were placed to close major roads owing to security threats.

Shia Ulema Council and Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslemeen announced three-day mourning on the killing of its leader Deedar Jalbani.

Meanwhile, some petrol pumps and markets also remained closed in the tense areas. The roads remained closed from MA Jinnah to Numaish Chowring and Empress Market.

A very thin traffic was reported on the roads, while All Karachi Transport Ittehad has said the transport will continue after the security threats subside.

Wafaqi Urdu University and NDA University pospotponed the exams while Dawood Engineering Technology University and Karachi University also remained closed today (Wednesday).

Private School Management Association also announced the closures of schools to avoid any untoward incident.

The law enforcement, meanwhile, arrested two terrorists from Khokhrapar and recovered 35 anti-tank mortars.

According the agencies the terrorists were planning to attack Jafar Tayyar Society.

One foreigner accomplice of the accused is at large, the security sources added.

All the accused were resided in a house situated in Chaman Colony.
