LAHORE (Dunya News) - In Dunya TV’s programme TOP Story, ex-security adviser General (R) Mehmood Durrani said all the four generals vying for top slots were competent and strong and all the credit goes to the outgoing General Kayani in this regard.
He pointed out the biggest challenge for the new military chief will be security and war on terror. He added the new military chief will follow the policy of out-going General Kayani.
Another participant in the programme, S M Zafar said the period of Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was that of suo motu notices. Justice Tassaduq Hussain is of moderate nature, he added.
MQM’s Faisal Sabazwari said the MQM was being targeted in Karachi and the government should take along all the parties.
