Summary Maulana Fazlur Rehman says the issue of talks with Taliban is still in a state of delay.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Briefing the media after the meeting of his party’s executive body on Thursday, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Majlis-e-Shoora of his party has expressed its reservations over the Defence of Pakistan Ordinance.

He said that issued would be raised with the government after consultation with a team of legal experts however, the Ordinance has been rejected.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced to call a tribal jirga in Peshawar on November 28 to discuss restoration of peace in FATA.

Responding to a question, Fazl said that there is still a deadlock regarding peace talks with Taliban however, he is optimistic about the future.

Criticising PTI government, the JUI-F chief said how the KPK government would block NATO supply as it received $ 500 from the US.
