PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamat-e-Islami on Friday held protest demanding blockade of NATO supply to till end to drone strikes.
Hundreds of JI activists gathered at Peshawar’s Ring Road and staged a sit-in for two hours. The protesters were carrying banners and placard with anti-America slogans.
The traffic at Ring Road jammed due to the sit-in while the participants shouted anti-US slogans. The protesters also protesters passed a resolution demanding of the federal government to direct PAF to shoot down the US drones.
“If the government does not block NATO supply till November 20, Jamaat-e-Islami will do this”, the protesters announced.
Meanwhile, workers of PTI and JI also protested at Nawan Shehr Chowk in Multan.
The protesters shouted slogans against the US and drone attacks. They demanded of the federal government to review its pro-American policies.
