Summary Imran Khan vowed to block NATO supply routes.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Session the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s provincial cabinet has been convened on Monday to review the aftermaths of Taliban leader’s killing in a US missile strike.

Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan vowed to block NATO supplies from crossing through the province in reaction to Thursday’s missile strike that killed TTP chief Hakimullah Mehsud and 'sabotaged' government’s planned peace talks with militants.

Officials said the provincial cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, would review law and order situation besides looking into the aftermaths of Taliban leader’s death as insurgents have vowed to avenge Hakimullah Mehsud’s killing.

The federal government has also announced to convene sessions of both National Assembly and Senate on Monday in which federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is likely to issue a policy statement over missile strikes and relations with the United States.

Mehsud, along with at least four other militants, was killed when a US drone targeted his car in the North Waziristan. He was one of the most wanted and feared men in Pakistan with a $5 million U.S. bounty on his head, leading an insurgency from the Taliban stronghold.
