Saudi Arabia grants legal status to 800,000 Pakistanis

JEDDAH (Web Desk) Pakistan s envoy to Saudi Arabia has urged Pakistani workers to contact consulate general in Jeddah for achieving legal status.

As many as nearly eight hundred thousand (800‚000) Pakistanis have got legal status in Saudi Arabia.

This was stated by Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan during an interview with Arab News.

He said Saudi Arabia has extended the amnesty deadline for expatriates till third of next month.

He thanked King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Salman for extending the amnesty deadline.

Pakistani envoy also lauded the Saudi Immigration Department for its cooperation and support especially to the Pakistani community in achieving the legal status.

He urged Pakistani workers to contact consulate general in Jeddah for achieving legal status and jobs.
