Summary At least 30 suspects were arrested during Rangers and police grand operation in Lyari on Friday.
KARACHI (dunya News) – According to details, Rangers operation in Lyari is going on for the past 19 hours. Exchange of fire between Rangers and gang war accused continues in Aman Park, Eidu Lane and other areas of Lyari.
Rangers anti-terrorism squad has reached in the affected area. The law enforcement agencies have sealed all entry and exit points in Kala Kot, Baqra Piri, Singu Lane, Nawa Lane and Chakiwara areas and started house-to-house search.
Meanwhile, a key member of gang war, Akhtar alias Akku, was killed in exchange of fire with Rangers in Gul Muhammad Lane area of Lyari. According to a Rangers spokesman, operation in Lyari will continue till the elimination of gang war accused in the area.
