(Web Desk) - A bomb found outside the residence of former MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan who belongs to the ruling Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) party.
Miscreants had placed a suspicious bag outside the residence of the former lawmaker located in sector E-11 of the federal capital city.
Police and security teams reached the site and the Bomb Disposal Squad was also summoned.
BDS personnel recovered the bomb from the bag and defused it.
At least half a kilogram of explosive material was used in the the bomb which was also fitted with a mobile phone detonator.
