(Web Desk) - China has offered to export 3200 megawatt of electricity to Pakistan. The offer was made by Chinese officials during talks with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Urumqi.
The Chinese officials said that the project could be completed in three years' time.
Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the offer and said it needs to assessed by the experts to ensure cost effectiveness.
The Punjab Chief Minister is currently on a visit to China to discuss cooperation between Pakistan and China in different fields particularly energy sector.
