BAJAUR (Dunya News) - Mortar shells were fired from Afghanistan on a Pakistani check post located in Bajaur tribal agency, injuring three soldiers of Frontier Constabulary (FC) on Tuesday.
Officials said the incident took place in Sarakai area of FATA’s Bajaur agency, bordering Afghanistan.
“Three mortar shells were fired from the Afghan side on Tuesday evening and one of them landed on a Pakistani check post, injuring three FC soldiers,” sources said.
Officials did to immediately confirm whether the shells were fired by afghan border troops or miscreants battling US-led NATO forces in Afghanistan as well as Pakistani security forces inside tribal areas.
Three rockets were fired from Afghanistan side on a security forces check post called Sarakai in Bajaur.
According to military sources‚ three FC soldiers were injured.
