Summary Doctors’ alleged negligence forces a mother to give birth outside the hospital’s emergency.
Faisalabad (Dunya News) - In Allied Hospital Faisalabad a mother gave birth to a child on the pavement outside the hospital emergency. The child died later on owing to the negligence of the doctors. The relatives of the women staged a protest and blocked the road.
According to the details, a resident of Fatehgarh was expecting and was taken to the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad. Owing to the lack of immediate healthcare, she gave birth outside the emergency of the hospital.
The enraged relatives of the victims staged protest and blocked the road. They said they reached the hospital at 3 pm but they were not allowed to enter the emergency, which resulted in the death of the newly born.
The hospital administration said the pregnant woman was brought to the hospital at 7 pm and the newly born had already died in the womb of the mother.
The protesters dispersed on the arrival of the police.
