LONDON (Dunya News) – Talking to media in London, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that he has raised that drone attacks issue at the United Nation early this month.
He said that drone attacks are violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. Nawaz Sharif said that he will raise the issue during meeting with US President Barack Obama.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif left for his visit to the United States on Saturday and is due to stay there until October 23.
To a question regardin peace talks with Taliban, Nawaz Sharif said that all political parties are on one plateform with regards to having peace negotiations with Taliban.
Relations between Pakistan and the US, fractious allies in the "war on terror", have been on the mend this year after lurching from crisis to crisis in 2011 and 2012.
Nawaz Sharif meets President Barack Obama on Wednesday with Washington keen to press the Pakistani premier to help faltering efforts at engineer peace between Kabul and the Afghan Taliban.
PM Nawaz Sharif will use the trip to seek help for his country s ailing economy and dysfunctional energy sector.
