ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A local court of Islamabad has reissued notices to respondents over bail plea of former president Pervez Musharraf in Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case.

Additional session judge Islamabad Wajid Ali heard the case pertaining to the murder of Ghazi Abdul Rasheed and his mother in Lal Masjid operation on Saturday.
During the course of proceedings, Ilyas Siddiqi, counsel for Musharraf, told the court that neither his client was involved in the murder case of Ghazi Abdul Rasheed nor police had any evidences against him.
Meanwhile, plaintiff's lawyer sought more time to prepare for the case and requested the court to adjourn the hearing.
Later, the case was adjourned till October 23.
