ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - One thousand and ninety-nine parliamentarians have submitted details of their assets to Election Commission of Pakistan, Dunya News reported today (Monday).
According to Election Commission‚ seventy parliamentarians have not submitted details regarding their assets as yet.
The ECP ordered all elected parliamentarians, who had won the May 11 general elections, to disclose the details of their assets to the ECP before September 30 under the constitutional and legal requirements.
The ECP had also sent letters to parliamentarians as a reminder to submit the details before the end of the deadline, warning them that otherwise their assembly membership could be suspended.
