Summary Targeted operations are ongoing in Karachi to bring the situation under control.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - The government of Sindh today (Wenesday) issued a notification under which five police stations in Karachi would be run jointly by Rangers forces and the police.
The provincial government had earlier decided that five police stations in Karachi, one each in the five districts, will be run jointly by the Rangers and police to deal with heinous crimes, especially terrorism.
The police stations that will be jointly run by the police and Rangers include Arambagh, Ferozabad, Nazimabad, Orangi Town and Steel Town.
Moreover, paramilitary forces carried out operations in the areas of Old Sabzi Mandi, Phool Pati Lane Lyari, Kharadar, Zia Colony, Jodia Bazaar among others and arrested 21 suspects.
According to a Rangers’ spokesperson, the arrested persons were involved in heinous crimes.
