(Web Desk) - At least five militants were killed as security forces repulsed an attack on a checkpost in Bannu district whereas one solider was also wounded in the attack that took place early on Wednesday.
According to details, the militants launched a rocket attack on a checkpost in Jani Khel area early morning at night and after a gunbattle, the attack was repulsed during which five militants were killed.
One security personnel was also injured in the incident.
The Bannu district of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa has been susceptible to militant and terror activities for a long time.
