Summary SC had directed the provincial govts to finalise schedule of local bodies elections till Sep 15.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Government of Sindh today (Wednesday) decided to hold local government elections on November 27th .
Earlier on Monday, the Sindh government requested the Supreme Court (SC) to grant time till December to conduct the local government elections.
A fresh reply would be submitted in the Supreme Court to hold polls on Nov 27, a government official said.
The apex court had ordered all the provincial governments finalise schedule of local bodies elections till September 15.
The governments of Punjab, Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Balochistan have not submitted their responses in the Supreme Court regarding the local body elections.
