(Web Desk)- At least two militants were killed in security forces’ retaliation in Dattakhel Tehsil of North Waziistan tribal region.
"The militants had launched a huge attack on the Khar Qamar checkpost at night and after a gunbattle of about half an hour, the attack was repulsed during which two militants were killed," an Inter Public Service Relations (ISPR) officer confirmed.
An indefinite curfew was imposed on the Bannu-Miranshah Road following the incident.
According to official sources, three security personnel were also injured in the attack.
