ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Anti-Terrorism Court extended judicial remand of accused Anwar Hameed in Bara Kahu suicide attack case till 23rd of this month.

Anwar Hameed had reportedly facilitated suicide bomber Zakaullah.
Zakuallah allegedly tried to carry out a suicide attack in Ali Masjid situated in the federal capital Islamabad, on the first day of Eid.
The attack was foiled because of the prompt reaction of the security guard outside the Masjid, who shot the suicide bomber before he could detonate the explosives on his jacket. The guard died in the resulting exchange of fire.
Earlier, Police apprehended key accused in Bara Kahu explosive-laden vehicle case on Sunday night.
The action was taken by Sabzimandi police station.
It is pertinent to mention here that police had seized 120kg explosive-laden vehicle from the house of accused Hamamd Adil in Bara Kahu area of the federal capital a few days back. The owner of the house was also taken into custody during the raid.
Police claimed that Hammad is close aide of the leader of a banned outfit.
The arrested accused, friend of Hamamd, was wanted to police in several terrorism cases.
