LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday took notice of the rape of a five-year-old girl in Lahore.

The Chief Minister has sought a detailed inquiry report.

Meanwhile, five people were taken into custody for interrogation. Police have formed two teams to arrest the main culprits. 

According to details, some unidentified men raped a fire-year-old girl, then dumped her in front of Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore.

The victim identified as Sunbhal is resident of Mughalpura area.

Sources informed Dunya News that the ill-fated girl and her two-year-old brother, Ahmed, went out of their house on Thursday evening but did not return.

According to police, Ahmad was recovered from Child Protection Bureau. Sunbhal’s father is a government servant. 

The minor girl’s condition is said to be critical, whereas, doctors have suggested an immediate surgery.
