ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): The first official hajj flight of Pakistan International Airline has left for Jeddah from the federal capital with 329 intending pilgrims on board.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf saw off these intending pilgrims from Benazir International Airport.
At least 143,275 Pakistanis will perform hajj this year. Of them, 86,000 people will leave for hajj under government scheme and 57,347 others will offer hajj this year under private scheme.
The green flag carrier will transport more than 70,000 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 151 hajj flights.
