LAHORE (Dunya News) - Former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has said that PPP had set new traditions in the political history of the country.
He said this while addressing the PPP workers and leaders who had gathered at Bilawal House Lahore to welcome him when arrived here from Islamabad.
Some foreign powers want to spark fire in Pakistan, he said.
He said PPP had accepted the results of the lections despite objections by all parties only for the sake of future of democracy and the country.
PPP government ensured the democratic transition of power, he said.
Zardari said he was now free of responsibilities as president and would restore contacts with the party workers and reactivate the party.
PPP leaders, including Mian Mazoor Watto, Aitzaz Ahsan, Latif Khan Khosa and others were present at the Bilawal House to welcome Asif Ali Zardari.
