Summary PM's advisor on National Security says peace in the region is in the best interest of Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD (Web News) Prime Minister s advisor on National Security Sartaj Aziz has said Pakistan has been doing all out efforts to facilitate Afghan reconciliation process.

Talking to Radio Pakistan s correspondent Haroon Baloch in Islamabad‚ the advisor said peace in the region is in the best interest of Pakistan.

It is worth noticing that Pakistan has decided to release another batch of seven Taliban detainees including Mansoor Dadullah to further facilitate the Afghan reconciliation process.

Regarding the internal security challenges and All Parties Conference to be held tomorrow‚ Sartaj Aziz said dialogue is government s first priority and PML-N is seeking all political parties  support in this regard.

To a question‚ the Advisor said Pakistan has followed the policy of non- interference in Afghanistan. He said improving economic and trade relations and peace in the neighboring country is top priority of the government.

In reply to another question‚ Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state with secure command and control system.
