Summary Police foiled a terrorism attempt in Islamabad and recovered explosives and spying instruments.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – According to details, police conducted a raid a house in Khayaban-e-Kashmir, located in the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police Station and recovered huge quantity of explosives, 20 Kalashnikovs, four pistols, hand grenades, wireless set, detonators and instruments used in spying.
The explosive material was hidden in remote control toys. Bomb disposal squad reached the spot and diffused the explosive material.
At least five people, including three women, were arrested. According to police, the arrested persons belonged to a banned outfit.
