KARACHI (Dunya News) – Earlier, The goods transporters have announced to stage protest rally on September 9 against increasing incidents of extortion and kidnappings for ransom in the city.
Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan took notice of the issue and called in the representatives of transporters.
According to United Goods Transporters Alliance Joint Secretary Imdad Naqvi, the transporters briefed the governor about their problems and failure of the government to adress the problems.
On the assurance of Sindh the Sindh Governor, the goods transporters delayed their protest rally.
