Summary MQM leaders have slammed false claims about the existence of a Muhajir Republican Army.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said Friday that propaganda against his party was being used to suppress and malign its image.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi along with Rabita Committee members Senator Babar Khan Ghauri and Nasreen Jalil, Rizvi said that false claims were made about the existence of a Muhajir Republican Army.
Former Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghauri said that wrong allegations were levelled that 19,000 containers from the Karachi port missed during his tenure.
He said that all such containers at the port are released after clearence of inteligence agencies and othe concerned departments.
Slamming the false blames, Haider Abbas Rizvi stated that the US Embassy had termed the allegation baseless adding that certain forces were focused on spewing hatred for MQM, but all attempts at negative propaganda had failed.
