Summary PM was briefed that the political parties and sectarian outfits were patronizing target killers.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Director General ISI Zaheer ul Islam and DG Intelligence Bureau Tariq Sarfraz briefed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about Karachi the situation.
According to the sources, the ISI and IB chiefs told the PM that Tehreeke-Taliban Pakistan and Jindullah groups were active in Karachi while TTP and Al-Qaeda were also involved in kidnappings for ransom.
The sources said that both the officials briefed the PM that Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Lyari’s criminal gangs were jointly involved in criminal acts.
It was told in the briefing that 458 target killers were identified who were patronized by political parties and sectarian outfits.
Meanwhile, accused of Abbas Town tragedy and attack on Justice Maqbool Bakir were also identified by the intelligence agencies.
It was revealed during the briefing that the intelligence sharing to police was leaked to the criminal.
