Summary Mubeen Khan was reported to have accompanied Sikandar when he was bringing weapons from Kasur.

HAFIZABAD (Web Desk) - Mobin Khan who is accomplice of Sikandar, prime accused in Islamabad firing incident has been arrested from Hafizabad and shifted to some unspecified location for interrogation.

As per police Mobin Khan is a taxi driver and he has been apprehended from Mohalla Islamgarh of Hafizabad. The day firing incident took place; Mobin Khan accompanied Sikandar in brining arms to Islamabad.

Mobin Khan was involved in suspicious activities since long and he had links with several leading personalities in the border areas. He is living in Mohalla Islamgarh at Hafizabad and is son of a retired police constable.

Mubeen Khan is a taxi driver and a resident of Islampura in the area of Hafizabad. His father, Late Lal Khan, was a constable and his brother works for the police.

Islamabad police has also arrested another accomplice of Sikandar named Ubaidullah from Hafizabad who was later transferred to an unknown place.

On August 15, Malik Sikandar along with his wife harassed Islamabad city for more than five hours.

Sikander, armed with at least two assault rifles, an AK-47 and a latest sub machine gun (SMG), started shooting at Jinnah Avenue.

The armed standoff, finally came to a heroic end after an unarmed Pakistan Peoples Party leader, Zamarud Khan risking his life attacked the armed man leading to his arrest.
