KARACHI (Dunya News) - A man was killed Friday morning after he was hit by a mini bus near Shahrah-e-Faisal bridge while the angry protesters set the bus ablaze.
According to reports, an overspending mini bus driver struck and critically injured a young man riding on a motorbike near wireless gate at Shahrah-e-Faisal.
The injured person was immediately rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Following the accident, furious crowd burnt the bus and protested the mishap. The driver managed to escape while the bus was completely destroyed till the arrival of fire brigade.
On the other hand, three more bodies bearing torture marks were found from different areas of Karachi while a woman was gunned down in Orangi Town.
According to police, unknown armed attackers entered a house in Orangi Town no.10 and sprayed bullets on her. As a result of firing, the woman died on the spot while the assailants fled from the scene.
Moreover, a tortured body was found from Site area near Labour Square while another body in a gunny bag was recovered from Chakiwara area of Lyari.
A body bearing torture wounds was also found from Shershah area late on Thursday night.
All the bodies were shifted to the hospital for medico-legal formalities and ascertain identities.
