LAHORE (Dunya News) - At least 300,000 cusecs water is likely to pass from Multan as Chenab River is on flood due to heavy rains and flood water released by India. 

On the other hand, dozens of villages have been inundated due to flood in Sutlej River in the suburb of district Kasur.

In the same way Borewala, Bahawalnagar and Vehari also have come in the range of flood water. Likewise, the Ravi River has flooded dozens of localities.

According to sources, 3,00,000 cusec water would enter Multan tonight after passing from Jhang. As precautionary measures, the people from Shujabad, Jalalpur Piranwala and Alipur have started migrating safer places as a precautionary measures.

On the other hand, Sutlej has engulfed dozens of villages in the suburb of district Kasur while Borewala, Vehari and Bahawalnagar also have been devastated by flood water.

Heavy flood water also has overwhelmed dozens of villages as well. Hundreds of acres crops have destroyed while people have become deprived of edibles and inevitable daily items as floodwater has ruined major part of their stocks.

Moreover, cattle are bound to face starvation due to lack of green food.

People have selected upper portions of land for the survival of their families. In the same way, main roads have ruined due to heavy rains and floods which have left millions of people stranded at different places.

In the same way, hundreds of villages in the suburb of Nankana Sahib, Chichawatni and Sahiwal also have been engulfed by floodwater.
