Summary Report presented to Nisar says Zumurad Khan’s entry was a security lapse.
ISLAMABAD (Online) - Three member investigation team of Interior Ministry to probe into firing incident of Jinnah Avenue has presented its report before Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday.
“Security lapse” in the incident has been restrained up to Zamurd Khan’s entry and his effort of catching the accused Sikandar empty handed.
While, responsibility of incident has also been put upon media and masses.
According to reports, the report did not hold responsible officials of Islamabad Police of the incident and recommended departmental punishment against junior police officers.
The committee also recommended the government to train the police so that this kind of incident would be avoided in future.
