ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Sikandar who created terror near Jinnah Avenue on Thursday has recorded his first statement to police in hospital after he was injured in an encounter with security forces.
Sikandar told the police that he did everything under a fit of anger and was ashamed of his action. He informed the police that he had purchased the two guns from a man from Pasrur.
“Kanwal has nothing to do with my action, she acted on my directions only as an obedient wife,” Sikandar said.
He said he was upset because of the arrest of his son in Dubai. They said that knee bone injury of Sikandar can take months to fully recover. Doctors also confirmed that Sikabdar was mentally upset and used drugs.
Meanwhile, police have arrested the man who sold weapons to Sikandar. The wife of Sikandar has also stated that he was an addict and used drugs.
Talking to Dunya News on Sunday, mother of Sikandar had said that Sikandar often misbehaved with the family members in fits of anger. She disowned her son and condemned his Islamabad action.
