The opposition lawmakers from MQM, PML-F, PML-N and PTI will take up the worsening law and order issue at the session. The rising water flow in the Indus and floodwater issue is also likely to be taken up by the lawmakers.
The decision to present the LG bill was taken during a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the Chief Minister House in Karachi on Sunday.
Talking to Dunya News, Sindh Advocate General, Khalid Javed said that the draft of new LG bill is fully in accordance with Article 140-A of the constitution.
On the other hand, MQM has rejected the PPP-proposed LG Bill and the assembly session is expected to be rife with heated debate over the LG law.
