Summary PTI decides to protest against the LBs 2013 in and outside the parliament.

 
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf held in Lahore on Sunday reviewed the Punjab Local Government Bill 2013.


The participants of the meeting rejected the decision of Punjab government to hold Local Bodies elections on non-party basis.


The meeting was told that legal experts were reviewing the bill and it would be challenged in the court.


The meeting also decided to form of a political committee, headed by Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri, to look into the matter at Punjab level.


PTI has also decided to protest against the Bill along with other opposition parties in and outside parliament.


Meanwhile, the meeting was told that a flood relief committee, headed by MPA Dr Nosheen Hamid Meraj and Dr Farooq Tahir Chishti, had been formed at Punjab level.


The office bearers of PTI Punjab chapter would also visit the flood-affected areas.
