Summary Police say 500 kg bomb recovered near residence of SSP Raja Umar Khitab in Saddar police lines.
KARACHI (Online): Five persons have been killed and one sustained injuries during firing and violent incidents in Karachi, while 500 kg weighing bomb has been recovered near the residence of SSP CID Raja Umar Khitab in Sadar police lines.
As per reports of police department, two mutilated dead bodies were found from the areas of Mewa Shah graveyard and garden near Rehmania Mosque respectively, while 3 dead bodies were recovered from the areas of Kharadar near Ubal chowk, Tando Jam Goth of Bhains Colony and Bahadurabad.
Other than that 1 person sustained injuries by firing in the area of Quaid Abad. Police describing the details of recovered bomb said that unidentified accused fixed bomb outside the house of SSP CID Umar Khitab and fled from the scene.
Two police personnel had sustained injuries in one bomb blast while second one did not blast due to disconnection of fuse from it and was later on defused yesterday night.
