QUETTA (Dunya News) - At least six militants have been killed in an exchange of firing during search operation by Balochistan Levies and security forces in Machh area of Bolan district.
The operation was conducted after killing of fourteen persons in Machh.
Last week, unknown militants kidnapped and shot dead 13 passengers from Punjab-bound buses in Balochistan’s Bolan district.
According to police, the incident took place in Macch town of Bolan district where armed assailants kidnapped 22 passengers from five buses going to Rajanpur from Quetta.
The kidnappers gunned down 13 abducted passengers after identifying them and dumped their bodies in a nearby locality of the kidnapping where they were recovered on Tuesday morning. Nine abductees were released after identification.
As per details, militants stopped seven passenger buses in district Bolan and allowed two Sindh-bound buses to go. CNIC’s of the passengers were checked before abduction.
The victims have been identified and they hail from Sadiqabad, Rajanpur and other towns of Punjab.
On the other hand, two terrorists have also been killed in retaliatory action by FC personnel in Mastung today (Saturday).
The terrorists were killed when they tried to attack a check post. Heavy weapons and a bomb were recovered from their possession.
