Summary Supreme Court highlights duty of law regarding meeting with missing persons.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): The Supreme Court resumed hearing of missing persons case and while passing his remarks Justice Jawad S Khawaja said that nobody should be exploited. The apex court has no demand but only rule of law.
Attorney General Munir A Malik told the court that there is great possibility of recovery of missing persons as he has finalized his consultation with all the four Advocate Generals and Secretary Defence in this regard.
The list of concentration camps and commandant officers also has been submitted in the court.
Justice Jawad S Khawaja while passing his remarks said that the court wanted only rule of law rather than exploiting anybody.
“People are bound to wander here and there in order to have a meeting with their loved ones while law enforcement agencies are trapping them under the pretext of so-called rules and regulations.
It should be kept in mind that in the sight of law, everybody has right to meet his relatives”, concluded Jawad S Khawaja.
